Handy with mostly cosmetic updating?
The starting price is very low indeed at $110 K. There is cosmetic work to be done, but if you come see the houses potential, you’ll agree @ $110 K it’s a steal.
The beach is a short walk up the road just north of the lifeguard Station. The police sub-station is at the end of the street.
Because the house is 85 years old and I have no idea during which stage of updating the house will be sold, the house will be sold “as is”.
I acquired the home as a result of a family tragedy and though I’ve loved living here, it is time to move on.
Here is the list of updates so far:
The roof was completely replaced 2 years ago by Greg’s Roofing, Inc. a local legend for quality work. The smaller bathroom was completely renovated this last year (6/09) by John Tesca and Richardo Rivera. Their work quality is excellent. They also replaced the windows on the west side of the house and installed a new water heater. Both bathrooms have new toilets. The front yard was professionally naturescaped by Vertigro last year(09).
The garage will need to either be re-built or torn down and become a carport.
I’ll take the first week or so of my summer vacation to relax, then John Tesca and I will start working on updating the plumbing in the master bathroom and replacing the east side windows.
Act soon to avoid the price increase as John and I begin, then finish the improvements.
